IMG_4158 (1)We sat down with another beautiful Wonderland bride to get her love story. Meet Dara & Jonathan, who were married November 4th, 2017. IMG_4118 When and how did you meet? Jonathan and I met online in March of 2015. Instagram, to be exact. We were both into body building and competing and I was getting ready to do my first show and thought it would be a good idea to start following other competitors for motivation. I lived in Florida and Jonathan in Georgia. Jonathan is one of the body builders I started following and his page intrigued me. His physique, workout technique, diet and of course his good looks and personality drew me in. I started going through his page and liking pictures here and there. A couple days later, I noticed I caught his attention because he had liked a few of my pictures as well. I decided to be bold and DM him and let him know that I was getting ready to compete and if he would mind me asking him questions. He replied me back to me, gave me his number and told me that he wouldnt mind. We talked through FaceTime for three months before we decided to set up a date to meet each other in person. We wanted to wait until after we both competed to travel. Jonathan decided that he would fly to me first and we established June 4th, 2015 as the date.  June 4th finally came and we finally were able to meet in person. It was love at first touch! We made it official that we were dating and everything was great. We both flew back and forth to visit one another until I decided to move to Georgia that following September. How long did you date before he popped the question? Jonathan and I dated for a year to the date before he popped the question. How did he propose? Being born and raised in South Florida, Jonathan knew I was a beach girl. So, he asked my Dad for my hand in marriage on February 15th, 2016 and once my Dad gave him his blessing, he told all of my family and close friends that he wanted it to be a surprise and have them all included. So, we came down to visit my family the weekend of June 4th, 2016. Like always, the beach was on our list of things to do. Saturday, June 4th, 2016 we went to thebeach and about an hour in, Jonathan starts confessing his love for me when I turn around and see all of my family and friends standing behind me on the sand. Jonathan asks me to stand up and in front of everyone, proposes to me. The entire beach erupts in cheers and whistling. I was more than happy! Where were you married and how did you pick the place? Jonathan and I got married at the Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac, FL. I decided to pick them as our venue because I wanted a Moroccan themed wedding, since I am Moroccan, and it just so happened that the chef at the venue is Moroccan and knew how to cook all the food I wanted and had all the Moroccan décor I envisioned. I knew that this was the place after meeting and speaking to him. Such a friendly, professional guy. What theme and/or colors have you chosen for your wedding and why? I had a Moroccan themed wedding and my colors were gold and plum because they are Moroccan colors. Where did you go for your honeymoon? We havent gone on our honeymoon yet but plan to go to either Cuba or Jamaica. Why did you chose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress? I chose Wonderland Bridal because my Matron of Honor, purchased her wedding dress and bridal party dresses from Wonderland and I loved the selection they had to offer and of course the staff. I went to two other places before going to Wonderland and the reaction I got from my friends and family were priceless. Share your experience about your time with Wonderland Bridal. The girls there are so nice and helpful and they became my friends rather than just another sales lady trying to sell me something. They asked all the right questions in trying to help find my perfect dress. What was the best part of your wedding day? EVERYTHING. But obviously marrying my best friend in front of everyone we love and care about. Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding? Enjoy every minute of the wedding planning and dont stress. Have fun. And make sure you have the right people around and helping you.   [gallery ids="4731,4732,4730,4726" type="rectangular"]
