As any bride who has taken an iPhone photo of her wedding gown knows,  it can be difficult to miss some of the special details. How is it that photographers bring out all of these details? Lenses, yes. Lighting, definitely. All of that helps but what can you do to make an impact in your photos? Preparation First and foremost, Helena Carmouze with Provoke Photography recommends, "Make sure that you have everything that you need for your detail photos in the room with you while you are getting ready: wedding dress, veil, shoes, rings (both wedding rings), etc. Having these things accessible allows the photographer to capture details in the most efficient way possible." Certain stones and sequin will reflect light and send delicate flares from your gown. Many wedding gowns this season have a sequin underlay which adds more sparkle to an already blingy dress. If you are not a big fan of sparkle, there is a way to have a subtle hint without it feeling overwhelming. Clear sequin over appliques are a great addition to any dress. 6643.1510169875.0 This gown from Stella York has light sparkle on the appliques and straps but can be ordered with or without a sequin underlay. You can try this stunning gown on at Wonderland Bridal. If you are completely against having any sparkle on your wedding gown you may want to think about your accessories. We see many brides who love studded earrings.  Simple studs look nice but in any photo that is not a close-up, you won't even see your earrings if they are too small. We suggest a larger stud or a small dangle if you don't want to wear anything too heavy. If you are open to a dangle earring but are not used to wearing anything so long, we suggest wearing them for a little while every day until you feel comfortable having them on or decide that you need to go with another style. Bridal Earrings Train Make sure you get pictures of that fabulous train! A train doesn't have to be long to create a dramatic photo. There are so many different and creative ways that a photographer can have you position your dress. The more details the better! Some trains, especially those that are illusion are very difficult to position.  If you turn around or kick the dress, the picture will take longer to set up.   Veils [caption id="attachment_4394" align="aligncenter" width="400"]PThe - 0954-L Our beautiful bride Precious. Ask your photographer what ideas they have for shooting your wedding day and what else you can do to make your photos extra special. After all, they will tell a story you will be able to look back on for years to come.
