We sat down with another beautiful Wonderland bride to get her love story. Meet Kaela & Anthony, who were married February 4th, 2017. Kaela wore one of our beautiful Stella York gowns and her bridesmaids wore Sorella Vita from Wonderland Bridal.
When and how did you meet?
Anthony and I met through mutual friends. My coworker kept trying to set us up. Finally after hanging out for a while we bonded over our shared love of sarcasm and silliness.
How long did you date before he popped the question?
We dated four years before he proposed.
How did he propose?
Anthony set up a whole scavenger hunt for me. I woke up to my best friend at my house telling me to get up and get dressed. Then she handed me a clue that sent me to the first place we met. He had a car that picked us up and drove us from clue to clue. At each clue I was met with different familiar faces of my friends and family and each time I collected another sunflower. The last clue sent me to a hotel on the beach. As I walked up to the rotunda Anthony got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. All of our closets friends and family were there too!
Where were you married and how did you pick the place?
We got married at Plantation Preserve in Plantation. A coworker suggested the place to us and as soon as we checked it out I could see myself marrying Anthony there.
What theme and/or colors have you chosen for your wedding and why?
Our colors pink, white and grey.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
We went on a 8 day Caribbean Cruise for our Honeymoon!
Why did you chose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress?
The same coworker that suggested our venue told me about Wonderland Bridal. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the place for me. Patti and Alicyn are super friendly and outgoing. They are detailed orientated and make sure everything goes well with your dress. I just absolutely LOVED them!!!

What was the best part of your wedding day?
The best part of my wedding day was listening to my husbands vows.
Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding?
Give yourself plenty of time to plan and do as much as you can in the beginning. I did a lot of planning in the beginning that when it came closer to the time I was able to relax and enjoy this very special time. Also, dont go crazy over small details. At the end of the day you are there to marry the person you love! Never forget that!
