There's nothing we love more than getting to know our Wonderland brides and learning about their love stories. But, one of our favorite parts about owning a wedding boutique is hearing back from them after the weddings have passed.
In this "Wonderland Love Story" you will learn all about Alejandra & Anthony who were married on August 5, 2016.
When and how did you meet?
My husband and I were both in the military (U.S. Navy). We both worked in the same ship but never really noticed each other. One day I decided to begin a new workout routine with my husbands former boss. Eventually my husband joined us and after that we just clicked. We went out for our first date on a long walk. During our first date we started talking about our lives, dreams, and goals. After our first date we never stop seeing each other.
How long did you date before he popped the question?
We dated over 3 years.
How did he propose?
I am originally from Peru. One day we just decided to go to Peru so he can meet my family and the place where I was raised. Then, we decided to go to Machu Picchu. When we arrived to Machu Picchu he wanted to hike as far as possible. Once we got to the top of one of the mountains he proposed! It was perfect and unexpected!
Where were you married and how did you pick the place?
We got married at Deer Creek Country Club. I always liked Deerfield Beach, so one day we were driving around Deerfield beach and we found this incredible venue.
What theme and/or colors have you chosen for your wedding and why?
We did not really pick a theme but we did pick the color blue. This color symbolizes how our story began in the middle of the ocean.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
We went to Guanacaste Costa Rica.
Why did you choose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress?
Because everyone in this boutique was so welcoming and happy to assist me and help me getting what I wanted.

Wonderland Bridal was incredible from the minute I walked in everyone was so welcoming and happy to help me. They were very patient and really help me picking the dress I wanted.
What was the best part of your wedding day?
The best part of my wedding day was the ceremony seeing my husband standing by the altar knowing that soon we were going to be together for the rest of our lives.
Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding?
It is really important to have a good DJ. The DJ is the one who runs your wedding. People will not remember that flowers, the cake, or invitations. But they will remember how much fun they had in your wedding.
