Are appointments required try on wedding gowns?
At Wonderland Bridal, we offer personalized service. Scheduling an appointment allows us to prepare for your appointment and give you the best experience you deserve as a bride. We want to make sure we have a dressing room and bridal stylist available to assist you.
How long is my wedding gown appointment?
Expect your appointment to last a fun filled hour and a half. Be sure you arrive on time to ensure you have use of the entire appointment.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring pictures of dresses you’ve seen on our website, in magazines, online or that you’ve tried on elsewhere. We recommend bringing proper undergarments that you might wear on your wedding day. You are welcome to bring shoes, however, it is not necessary as you will be on a pedestal. Lastly, bring an open mind!
Is there a cost associated with an appointment?
Bridal appointments at Wonderland are free of charge! Please keep in mind that we are reserving this time especially for you. A private fitting area and a stylist will be booked to personally assist you for up to 2 hours. PLEASE give us a courtesy 24hr notice if you are unable to make it, as we typically have a waiting list.
Who should I bring to my appointment and how many people may I bring with me?
Bring the closest friend or family member(s) whose opinion you value the most and with whom you want to share the experience of buying your gown with. If there is a key person that will be the one to help you decide on and/or pay for your dress, make sure they are available to come with. All appointments will be limited to the bride and 3 guests. Exceptions can be made for weekday appointments only.
How long in advance do I need to order my gown?
You should be prepared to place your order no less than 9 months before your wedding. Special order gowns can take between 4-6 months to arrive and you will need to allow additional time for any alterations needed.
What is the price range for your wedding dresses?
Price range for special order dresses is between $1300-$3000. Our sample dress section for off-the-rack gowns is between $599-$999.
What size gowns are available for me to try on?
Our sample gowns range from a bridal size 10 to 30. We can order gowns in bridal sizes 00-34. We carry Stella York’s plus size line, Every Body Every Bride.
What should I do with my gown after my wedding?
We highly recommend cleaning and preserving your gown within 3 months from your wedding. Wonderland Bridal is proud to be an Elite Dealer with Wedding Gown Preservation Company and offer our brides the best cleaning and preservation service available. Simply bring us your gown with up to three accessories (veil, slip, straps) and we will take care of the rest! The gown will be shipped to your home in 2 – 10 weeks. This service costs $375 and is so worth it to keep your gown looking beautiful forever!
Why should I preserve my wedding gown?
- Stains (especially invisible sugar stains) will continually set in and yellow a gown as it ages. By removing them early on you ensure your gown stays the same color as the day you wore it for decades after the preservation
- Give you children or grand children the option of re-wearing your wedding gown as styles come and go. We’ve re-preserved dresses that have been re-worn for hundreds of brides over the years.
- Humidity and sunlight both rapidly deteriorate delicate fabrics. The wedding dress preservation kit has UV protection and seam sealing built in to protect your gown against these elements.
