Dianne & Pancho’s Wedding: Romantic, Heartfelt and Fun!

We sat down with another beautiful Wonderland Bride to get her love story.

Meet Dianne and Pancho, who were married on November 16th in Braselton, Georgia.

HOW THEY MET.

Dianne and Pancho met in June 2015 at Smoke BBQ (now Tin Roof) in Delray. ” I almost didn’t go out that night but it was the last day of school and my friend who is a teacher really wanted to celebrate, so we did.  I got lucky—fate struck!”, recalls Dianne. She didn’t know it then but her future husband had entered the bar and her life. She saw him walk in, he asked her to dance, and the rest is history.

HOW THEY FELL IN LOVE.

Dianne describes their first date as “the longest date ever”. They clicked instantly and couldn’t stop talking and laughing with each other. “I knew he was the one pretty early.  He is kind, loving, intelligent, thoughtful, fun – he checked all the boxes in what I wanted in a husband”, Dianne says.

THE PROPOSAL.

They dated for almost 3 years before Pancho proposed. He always planned to propose at the table he built – the one where all their memories would revolve around so they could one day tell their kids it’s where their family began. Talk about romantic! And he did just that. Caught Dianne off guard one quiet night at home and she said yes!

WEDDING DETAILS.

The wedding took place at Château Élan Winery and Resort in Braselton, Georgia. Dianne wanted a destination wedding where their guests and family could enjoy a fun and relaxing weekend getaway. Timeless and rustic describes the feel of the wedding.  The woods were an inspiration for them so they incorporated earth tones – ivory flowers and shades of green for bridesmaid dresses.  Dianne also wanted a princess feel so she brought in gold and rose gold for décor elements. Their first dance was a great cover of “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” by Toto Sorioso and Lulu Panganiban which we at Wonderland actually helped her pick 🙂

Q&A.

WB: Why did you choose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress?

DA: My friend had just gotten engaged and she had been to Wonderland and recommended it!

WB: Share your experience about your time with Wonderland Bridal.

DA: Amazing! I got lucky and fell in love with the second dress that I tried on! I actually loved two dresses that day but Alicyn knew I wanted the princess feel and could tell that the dress was very me. Wonderland has high quality dresses and I wanted a dress that was convertible and they had just the right one! I tried it on again and cried and said “Yes to the Dress!”. Loved my veil too! I also came back for bridesmaid and junior bridesmaid dresses. Another cool thing is my brother was my Man of Honor and Wonderland ordered a matching tie for him that was the same color as the bridesmaid dresses. It was really special!

WB: What was the best part of your wedding day?

DA: Everything! The ceremony, our vows and seeing my husband up there for the first time when walking down the aisle.  I really loved that we did a first touch too. The reception was so much fun.  We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding!

WB: Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding?

DA: Wear comfy shoes. I wore sneakers and am so glad I did! Importantly, try to be present on the big day. I have so many memories because I let the stress go once I got to the venue and focused on what the day was actually about—marrying my soul mate. And sit and eat your meal! We ate every last bite on our wedding day and are grateful we did!
